Happy Thanksgiving to you, your staff and family!

GRADTITUDE
This year more than ever, thankfulness may be the single most important emotion we can share with patients, staff and family. Studies demonstrate that an “attitude of gratitude” fuels happiness and encourages both physical and mental health, even among those already struggling with mental health challenges…which is includes all of us today! Intentionally practicing gratitude reduces expressing negative emotions and shifts inner thoughts away from dark emotions as anger, resentment and envy, reducing the chances of depression. So, what are you most thankful for today?

Special free ZOOM Meeting sponsored by ddsmatch
In just ONE week, Tues, Dec 1st @ 6:30p - Smile Advantage (in-office membership)PPO Advisors (insurance negotiations) have teamed up with ddsmatch to provide a virtual meeting for dental practices. With 2021 planning now in full session, plus the new shutdowns, we recognize that doctors & their patients need help now more than ever in these two areas. Sadly, many patients will lose insurance coverages, creating a foundation of cash-paying, membership patients. Plus negotiating maximum insurance fee schedules, will provide a rock-solid rebound for doctors and their practice.

Two Questions I get asked the most:

  1. Is it currently a seller’s or buyer’s market? It all starts with location! We are blessed in the PNW as it remains a seller’s market for the moment. Moments matter because it is 2020!
  2. Is dentistry going corporate DSO? From the letters, mailers, emails etc. the perception is, it sure seems so! Studies show the industry trend remains under 20% which is still significant, however, the answer is -NO- because their "model" box is limited, plus shareholders will continue to require a demanding profit.

May our country continue to persevere through this crisis and bring our community back to a stronger normal.  May all our families take advantage of this Thanksgiving to grow together and strengthen our bonds. I thank you for serving your community.  Again, your service goes far beyond just administering oral care.

All the best as you finish up strong in 2020!
